The herbal ingredients are embedded in a solid balm base that spreads very well, absorbs very quickly, is not sticky and non-greasy. As a special care component, the balm contains olive oil from cold pressing. The balm has been successfully dermatologically tested and is free of perfume, dye, paraffin and emulsifiers. Its characteristic smell is determined by the herbal extracts.

Comfrey,

Comfrey species have been used as medicinal herbs since ancient times. Its name derives from its use on broken bones and open wounds. The plants were also said to have healing effects on injuries to ligaments and tendons. Both the genus name Symphytum, which is recognized today, and the name Consolida, which is used in earlier works, mean translated "growing together" (lat. : consolidare, gr. : symphýein).
Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) is used as a medicinal plant and is also cultivated in herb gardens. Applied externally, it is effective for bruises, strains and sprains, but its use is restricted. The healing effect on the skin is due to the ingredient allantoin, which today has also found numerous areas of application in cosmetics. Allantoin accelerates cell construction and cell formation.
In general, preparations of the comfrey plant are used as a wound healing agent, especially for poorly healing wounds, broken bones, tendonitis or swollen glands. They have anti-inflammatory, analgesic and promote callus formation.

The devil's claw root extract for the CristinenMoor brand is specially made from South African devil's claw. Devil's Claw possesses potent analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties that are comparable to some other analgesics. It is therefore used to care for the entire musculoskeletal system, including muscles and tendons.

Olive oil contains unsaturated fatty acids, partly Essential fatty acids, i.e. fatty acids that the body cannot produce itself but are vital for it. Our olive oil is an extra virgin olive oil, cold-pressed and carefully produced without excessive exposure to temperature; from the first pressing.
The designation Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a quality label for olive oil and is assigned to the quality class ``Category I``.
